Originally from London, Kentucky, Helecia Stakelin (Hubbard) developed a passion for physical therapy after experiencing the rehabilitation process firsthand following sports-related injuries. A former basketball and softball athlete, those experiences inspired her to pursue a career dedicated to helping others recover and return to the activities they love.
Education
Helecia earned her degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science from the University of Kentucky in 2005. She then completed the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Somerset Community College and has been a board-certified Physical Therapist Assistant since 2007. Throughout her career, she has primarily practiced in orthopedic settings in central Kentucky, from Lexington, Winchester, Richmond, Mt Sterling, to Stanton, KY.
Helecia and her husband, Kyle, have two daughters, Kyleigh and Laney, and are proud to call Winchester, Kentucky, home. She is passionate about serving the Clark County community and building meaningful relationships with her patients.
