Matt Mattingly, PT MSPT, Cert MDT has been practicing physical therapy in the beautiful Bluegrass State for 16+ years since graduating from the University of Kentucky. He was born and raised right here in Breckinridge County by his parents Gus and Barbara Mattingly with his 2 brothers, Shane Taylor and Adam Mattingly. He attended Transylvania University where he gained his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Biology then on to UK for his Master's in Physical Therapy.
Matt is co-owner of Legacy Physical Therapy and Intension Education. He lives in Winchester, Kentucky with his wife Sarah and 3 children Ella, Ava, and Brady. Matt enjoys spending time with his family as well as hunting and fishing outdoors, as well as restoring old hot rod cars and trucks.

Katie Critchelow graduated from JCTC as a PTA. She has been practicing physical therapy for 20 years. Her parents are (the late) George and Cindy Dean, Siblings Krista Taylor, and Michael Dean. Clinically, as a PTA, the majority of her clinical experience has been as a clinical director in outpatient orthopedics; but she also has experience working in the school system, First steps (0-3 years old), aquatic therapy, and home health. She is an advocate for Depression and Suicide awareness and established the George Dean Memorial Scholarship Fund to decrease the stigma while raising money for Breck Co scholarships.
She is married to Keary Critchelow and they reside in Hardinsburg. In her spare time she enjoys working in her yard, gardening, fishing, pool time, spending time with her family, and traveling to the beach. Katie is co-owner of Legacy Physical Therapy.

Sarah Mattingly, MSPT has been practicing physical therapy since graduating from the University of Kentucky in 2004. She was raised in Shelbyville, Kentucky by Rose Deatherage and Maurice ``Squeak`` Payton and has 3 siblings, Paula, Manny, and David Payton. She also has a foster brother that came along when she was in college that she also considers a brother, and his name is Rodney Davis. She started out getting a finance degree at UK, but got into physical therapy school in her junior year. She ended up with a dual degree, receiving a bachelor's in health sciences and a masters in physical therapy.
Sarah now lives in Winchester and has since 2010, but has been serving the community as a physical therapist since 2004. She is married to Matt Mattingly, who is co-owner of the original Legacy Physical Therapy in Hardinsburg, KY. They have 3 beautiful children: Ella, Ava, and Brady. She loves people and wants for her patients to know how much she wants them to achieve their goals and to never feel as though they are a number or that she is working for the insurance company. She wants them to feel more like family and have fun while they get better.

Jim graduated with honors from the Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Athletic Training/Health Education. Soon after he received advanced degrees in Education and Physical Therapy from Temple University in Philadelphia PA. He Further studied Gait Biomechanics and Anatomy at the University of Kentucky while employed in the Sports Physical Therapy Service for the University.
Jim has practiced orthopedic and sports physical therapy for 28 yrs receiving specializations and certifications in McConnell, Dynamic and Kinesio taping, ASTYM manual therapy, Dry Needling, Vestibular Rehabilitation, Ergo-Science FCE performance and Foot orthotic prescription & fabrication. He is currently working towards completing his certification in the MDT (McKenzie) approach.
Jim loves treating patients with an upbeat, positive, and fun-loving approach using his varied therapeutic preparations to maximize each patient’s functional outcomes. Jim worked in the Winchester market for 10 yrs (2004-2014) before an opportunity and reassignment of responsibilities took him elsewhere. He returns to Winchester teaming up with a long-time friend and workmate, Sarah Mattingly. Together they are delighted to be back at it once again but under a more “down-home” and less corporate approach to Physical Therapy.
When Jim isn’t helping patients he enjoys spending time with his Family; Wife (Sharon) and three Children (Caroline, Cate and Sam). He further enjoys Music, Hunting, fishing, hiking, running, working outdoors and college football
