At Legacy PT, we know that physical therapists serve a vital role in decreasing the utilization of physician’s offices and emergency rooms for those who are in pain, and this is especially important during these extraordinary times. We want you to know that our doors are open to serve you and that our mission is to continue to keep you healthy and help you live your life pain-free. We are utilizing the utmost precautions in screening our patients and ourselves and we continue to implement disinfecting and sanitizing procedures. As you are considering scheduling an appointment, we ask that you please utilize the following guidelines:

If any of the above statements do not apply to you, then we kindly ask that you do not come into the clinic until you are cleared to do so per the CDC guidelines.
FURTHER GUIDELINES / STEPS FOR THE APPOINTMENT VISIT
If you are able to come to the clinic, here are some parameters we would like for you to follow, as well as guidelines we have set up to ensure further safety:
- A face mask is required to be worn by all patients unless you have a qualifying medical condition. Be assured that your therapist will wear appropriate PPE throughout your treatment session
- We will be utilizing the waiting room sparingly. Once you arrive, please check in until you receive notification that your therapist is ready to see you
- We ask that you wash your hands in the bathroom in the hallway prior to your appointment
- You will be met by one of our admin staff or physical therapists who will ask you screening questions and take your temperature.
- If you do not have a fever, then you will be permitted to enter the clinic.
- The clinic table and equipment will be sanitized and ready before you start your session
- At the end of your session, please wash your hands again in our clinic or at the bathroom
We know this may seem overly cautious, but at this time we have to ensure the safety and health of you, other patients, and our staff.
